The Mission of the St. Zelie Society is to pray for and assist families who are recently postpartum or adoptive, or are grieving from a child loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, or child death). We provide care in various forms as is best suited for the needs of the family receiving assistance including household chores, childcare, meals, and/or social visits. All assistance is provided at no cost to the recipients and is organized by volunteers. The St. Zelie Society is in total support of and in union with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
We welcome and assist anyone of any age, race, religion, parenting philosophy, or state in life; however, there is an understanding that we are a Catholic group, and all participants — volunteers and recipients of assistance — are expected to act charitably in all things.
At this time, there is no date for when we will begin providing assistance. Please join our mailing list if you are interested as we are trying to gauge the level of interest. Joining the mailing list is the best way to stay up-to-date on our activities. Thank you!
